Swallowed Whole

Black canvas of the universe spotted with washed out stars, gazing into the infinite.

Screams and pleads desperately trying to find something, anything to cling onto.
Fingers grasping for the airy mist.

Sounds, like suns, swallowed by the nothingness of the abyss. Colors forming vortexes flashing inside.
Whirlpools of blue, red and green. Yellow piercing in between.
All while the dark is stalking, waiting for the moment.

Sunrise, sunset no matter in the void.

Running at the speed of light or not at all? No way to tell.

Desperation and pain, devoured alongside hope and love.

Everything is there, inside. All to be seen, emptiness.

The pretty soul, the lively being shattered.
Carcasses like flowers blooming in a spring meadow.

Cosmonauts drowning in the tears of stars,
While their hearts, are being torn apart.

Mayday, Mayday! Can’t you hear the cries for it to end?

Let go and slip below the edge of this dreadful dimension.

Be free.

Spread your wings and claim your stake. Fly high into the skies.

Leave it all behind.
