Stargazer
Black ocean floating in the skies,
filled with innumerable fireflies,
oscillating to every word,
sung by you into the unknown world.
Together we marveled, we gazed,
followed their trails and stories praised,
Candlelight mirroring their infinite dance,
Wondering for too long, getting caught in a trance.
The sound of your voice keeping me from getting lost,
Searching for your eyes, swiftly glances crossed,
Looking for the shine above your fiery hair,
Million sparks jumping across face, so fair.
Morpheus snuggling along our thoughts,
Reaching for the dazzling stars like distant astronauts,
Hands locked and holding steady,
Waiting till blue sphere is ready.
Captivating Planet rising, radiant beams flooding unlit peaks,
Absorbing divinity distilled, stardust flowing like creeks,
Sun’s red hues jumping atop the black,
Never will I be looking back.
