Crowned puppet king,
Never wanted cursed fame,
Tricked into perilous blame,

Love an impossible tale,
Ephemeral strings trap,
Envoy’s heart’s hail,

Empire’s built on sand,
Empty now,
The once fantastical land,

They heed the onerous call,
Nothing left which came,
Before wretched fall,

Lay waste to golden gate,
For angel’s siren song calls,
Mesmerized and claimed by fate,

No hand extended by the savior,
Just swings and clings,
Not at fault for this behavior,

Tricked by my maker,
Tricked by lovers spark,
Has my love not left a mark?
