Poison Tongued
Walls reek of spotless white,
Politicians, priests, twisting wrong to right,
Voices echo in an empty room,
Left alone, swirling in doom.
Fake sun, to observe and find,
Enemies outside the walls we hide behind,
Just,
Blow them up with dynamite.
In a world where monotony means strength,
Brightness an estranged friend,
Existences will silently end.
Progress, time and human greed,
Immortal enemies,
Puppets and slaves reign in their wake,
Glued to screens,
Fed with pills, to shove away all ache.
Vines of wire planted deep,
To guarantee there can never be a creep,
To make sure that every tiny thought,
Charged,
The punishment a juggernaut.
“Fact and fiction, wasted dye,
No matter if it’s truth or lie,
Just hold you head up high,
Keep your flag safe or you’ll die
While forced to try”
Truth labeled as man-made, to sell the great escape.
The Truth? The only way to their happiness, your hope’s death.
Are you willing to breathe your last breath?
