Poetry Collection: Threads

First dates, love and how it all went up in flames,
Caring for people who wanted nothing more than leave this plane,
Watching the rain, from an asylum for the insane.

Lost crown,
Upside down frown,
Waiting for your hymn,
It’s starting to dim.

Gems sold along the way,
Needing to spin gold from hay,
If you wish to stay.

But you chose to run away.

Written in blood,
Inky lines directing the flood,
Nailing feelings to the ground,
Where they’ll always be found.

Raspy tones, soft strokes,
Enticing eyes, hold me tight,

Shivers and shivers,
Hair reaching out,
Longing,
For my favorite cloud,

Pulling me into the fray,
I know I’ll be safe,
A smile, unable to betray,

Walking life,
Sharing every wake.

Shew shew,
I told my thoughts,
this is no time,
to eat and dine,
on
who I ought
to be

A glass of orange juice,
a little bit of Vitamin-C,
a little bit of refreshment,
a little bit of a sweet taste,

Something to help me when,
I’m dying of thirst,
I’m in need of better health,
I need to get back on my feet,

A glass of orange juice,
is what I want every morning,
is what I want in a friend,
is what I want from love.

Knife tickling throat,
Rhythm lost to rhyme,
Chaos eating soul,
Forgetting what’s mine.

Cars and passerby’s,
Perfecting what’s fine,
Strangers eating heart,
Telling me what’s mine.

Can’t say goodbye,
Friends lost to time,
Lovers eating body,
I don’t want what’s mine.

I dreamt
of a kiss, something
I’ll continue to
miss

Please
steal me away,
I don’t want to
stay

Eyes
wish to see, you
be a part of
reality

Good night said the rabbit to the knight,
Struck by noxious arrow from afar,
Walked right into the light,
Never even tried to fight,
Never made a big deal,
Out of being your,
Next meal
