Our Hearts Collide
Now orbiting around a common star,
Our love tethers, you’re never far,
Twin souls dancing through the skies,
So beautiful a poet’s heart almost dies,
Everytime I look at you,
Something in my chest wishes to break through,
Sharing our starlit paths,
Round and round drenched by golden bath,
Galaxies surround the place we carved,
Each new day you rise the sun is dwarfed,
Horizon split in two, oh what a view,
Each new beat, new cosmic feat,
Your pull keeping me safe and sound,
From all the asteroids floating round,
Your lips breathe back life into these shores,
Each night tugging on my core,
To spin with you each day anew,
Is what helps me pull through,
Starshine on your cheeks at nine,
Send shivers down my rocky spine,
And so we dance, our endless dance,
Till our love burns so bright,
Our worlds are forever set alight.
