Looking Glass
Distant galaxies dancing behind your fragile eyes,
Wrapped in vivid nebulae reaching outward,
Running from the darkness, taking a hold of me,
Forcing me, ever closer.
Gravity, inescapable, bewitching my soul,
Drawing in in my blazing aura,
Enveloping us in brilliant stardust.
Drowning in the dreamscape in front.
Outshining the sun,
The light cast down by gods observing,
Reveling in rain bestowing serenity.
Hurricanes following your gaze,
Wreaking havoc on my fleeting heart.
Calling on the endless flame,
To ignite the void once more.
Worlds, separated by infinities of grey,
Lost in the haze between,
Only feeling the pull of gravity.
Drowning in the inescapable pull.
All encompassed by a vortex of comets,
Radiance shattering the dark,
Fiery tails painting doors to new horizons.
Your tides crashing upon my shore,
Towering higher, and higher,
Grasping for the lonely star,
Grasping for the porcelain figurines littered across the skies.
Streams of gold pouring from the black.
Carving canyons into stone,
Forming constellations in the sky.
Drowning, lips unable to reach oxygen.
