Light the Souls
A faint heartbeat ringing through the valley,
Coated by the dying light of the silhouettes,
Levitating high above.
The shadow’s strings pulling apart,
what hasn’t been whole for the eternity of its existence.
Whispering the screams of hopelessness into the dark flames of the night.
The liberty of death has ridden here, it’s presence been demanded.
The bond woven between the souls promised to another,
The only thing keeping him at bay.
Love keeping the fire burning that scorched our hearts and scarred our souls,
Marching into the unknown.
The lifeless butterflies dancing around our broken bodies,
Never breaking down.
The symphonies the ravens craw into the infinity,
Of the realm we wander between life and the beyond.
Torn between the worlds only kept alive by the bond,
We forged under the luminous sun.
The memories of old fading with each second passing in the timeless.
Reapers waiting for a choice to be made, circling us like distant vultures.
Blending with the blurry starry night.
The nocturnal gazing in amazement of the struggle we can never win.
Falling but being hold in place by the ties we made.
Nowhere to go but next to you.
