Falling (Into Your Arms)
Silence pierced, arrow strung from bow,
Shot from hills out sight out of mind,
Sailing past the cities built on seas,
Usurping the wandering reveries.
Your hand reaching through the mirror,
Turned to stone by self depiction,
Rescuing the soul left in the wake,
Just when I had started to doubt fate.
Thunderstorms erupted and tidal waves washed,
The sorrow from my bones, with one glance,
A kiss exorcised the restless demons lurking,
Your touch sending my heart flaring.
Never could I have dreamed that darkness,
Would harbor more than onerous monster.
Human bewitching my head to claim valor,
Your arrow hit its mark.
