Every Cell Is Occupied (Reimagined)

A heart in golden chains,
By evolution crowned,
In the center forever bound,
From every cell an echo howls,
Merciless reflection of every action,

Burning bright to drown it all,
Every wall painted white,
To go blind is the greatest want,
Without feelings nightmares no longer haunt,

Memories once locked away,
The prisoners keeping watch of lonely guard,
Every night and every day,

How is a heart supposed to survive the panopticon of the mind,
When the guard at the same time is in every cell confined?
