What about the Day?
What about the day, the sun went dark, the moon had fallen and the stars burned out? When the ghastly monsters emerged from the depth, the long forgotten rift, the cleft, the fissure we thought had been closed long ago. From far below the ocean’s surface the behemoths arose, where all evil originated,I ventured. Hold me, the frost is crawling up my fingers, turning them into a cold white patterned landscape. My eyes are bleeding tears. Save me from the devils we had buried down below. Hold me my love. The rapture I feel everytime I gaze into your alluring beautiful face, I lose myself in the depths of the play of light and shadow, the flow of the colors, how they elegantly form the magnificent being that is you. Pull me through. My worlds alight by the incendiary the beasts have caused. Rescue my flux state of mind. Unchain my jailed, imprisoned soul. Light my fire, my heart once again. Illuminate the night which has set upon my decaying lands. Let the cold sun, the sinful preachers, the ruinous homes and souls breathe in your light and warmth. Ignite their wits, let them regain their fighting spirits. Go on. Let the shaken fiends crumble. Defeat my demons. You are the sunshine in this desolate, perished marsh. This dreary, bleak, abandoned wasteland called me, calls screaming for a savior. Will you be the angelic warrior who strikes down the armies of the night, the legendary hero who calls upon the light to cast beams of glory in to every corner of the corrupted and empty home I call my body? Rid me of my infernal, malevolent enemies. Curse those diabolic beings into eternal damnation. Lift my nether self above the sea level. Catch me before I hit the welcoming, soft, warm asphalt road. Be my safehold. I know you will shine throughout the day like the sun, glow in the dark like the moon, and sheen in the black like the stars.
